California’s Central Coast:
Paso Robles is about 30-45 minutes drive from the coastal communities of San Simeon, Cambria, Cayucos, and Morro Bay. The scenic route of Highway 46 West takes you to Highway 1 and the coast side towns. Along the coast, Highway 1 extends north to Big Sur and Monterey and to the south past Morro Bay is Montana de Oro State Park.

Enjoy the Wineries around Paso Robles:
There are approximately 80 wineries in the region of Paso Robles. Come for the organized events including but not limited to the annual Wine Festival, the Zinfandel Festival, and the Harvest Festival.

  The region is blessed with two lakes west of Paso Robles, Lake Nacimiento and Lake San Antonio draw visitors to the Paso Robles area and provide a setting for both vacation homes and permanent area residents. Boating, water skiing, fishing, wildlife programs, and camping are among the many activities in the area.

Area Dining:
Paso Robles offers a wide range of dining, from the quick snack to the fine meal that will long be remembered. Menus offer the traditional to the exotic, economical to the elaborate. Within walking distance of City Park in the downtown area there are many excellent choices

Sulfur/Geothermal Spas:
Come enjoy the spas and natural hot sulfur springs. In the 19th and 20th Centuries many visitors came to Paso Robles for what they believed to be the curative powers of the geothermal waters.

Downtown Events:
City Park is the focus for many different events and celebrations throughout the year. Parades, festivals, exhibits, and shows are all part of the downtown calendars maintained by the Paso Robles Visitors and Conference Bureau and Paso Robles Main Street.

Mid-State Fairgrounds:
Located in Paso Robles, the State’s fairgrounds are home to the annual California Mid-State Fair (end of July through early August) and a great variety of year-round activities, shows, and exhibits.
